Bill Davenport Awarded the 2020 Friend of ODGA Award

Bill was presented with the Friend of ODGA Award at a Northeast Ohio Dairy Goat Association meeting (pictured here with Glen Clevidence, right). The Friend of ODGA award is presented to a person who has given much of their time and effort to advance the diary goat industry and support the mission and activities of ODGA.
 
Bill has been involved for many years as a key supporter of the Northeast Ohio Dairy Goat Association (NEODGA) and their annual show. Jeffrey Smith, ODGA President, describes him as a kind-hearted and giving soul. Whatever anyone needed, he would do it if he were able.
 
One thing that I know about him is that every time I tried to call to ask him a few questions about himself, his line was busy. Bill’s kindness is shared not only with ODGA but many friends who want to keep in touch with him. Thank you, Bill, for sharing your gifts with ODGA.
