Ways & Means Success	A big Thank You to everyone who donated raffle items at the Fall Conference. Also a big thank you to everyone who purchased tickets. We made $849.50 on the raffle table. We could not have done it without YOU… and thanks to those who helped with the raffle. - Deb Rudolph
Semen Auction	The idea of a silent semen auction was started in 2004 by Patti Dean of Willow Run / Caprine Estates. She offered 5 straws of semen from each of “her” breeds for auction, with the proceeds earmarked for the youth fund. In 2005, South Eastern Ohio Dairy Goat Association received the semen donations, raffled the semen at the ODGA Conference, and sent the proceeds to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Katrina disaster relief efforts. In 2006, we had to *turn away* semen donations! We still ended up with EIGHTEEN lots of semen!! Thank you to those who donated – Wendy Hercheck of King Farms, Phyllis Livingston of Chazberry Lane, Terry Barr of Barr 5 Semen Works, Pat McGeorge of Heavenly Hopes, Kirt Schnipke of Ober-Boerd, Marilyn & Linda from Semen Sisters, Lisa Begley of Troubled Acres, Cheryl Nestor of Nestor Acres and Greg & Barbara Brown of Atwood Acres – and congrats to those who won – Holly Edwards, Amy Keckler, Wendy Hercheck, Atwood Acres, Helen Roe, Christine Wisehart, Deb Snyder, Cathy Walter, Toboggar Run and Jewell Dickey!
