Milky Way is a very growthy and correct buck kid, he is American Lamancha, his grand dam placed 13th at the 2008 ADGA National Show! His dam finished this year as a 2 year old first freshening milker!  I would keep this buck myself if I had does I could breed him to! Milky Way has been shown 5 times this year against my other 2 very competitive lamancha buck kids. Being the youngest kid and almost a month younger he has placed 1st x 2 (under Tom Considine and Aaron Carter) 2nd x2, and 5th x 1.  To view Milky Way's dam click on Heavenly Hopes Java Twist.

Fabio is a very nice yearling buck. 

We actually kept him for breeding last fall, and got a set of very correct beautiful twin bucks out him. I couldn't have asked for a better combination, only instead to get does instead of bucks! His dam is milking between 2.5 to 3 gallons a day right now, she will also be milk tested this year. Fabio's dam placed 13th at the 2008 ADGA National show out of a class of 61 very competitive goats! 

His full sister freshened this year and has tremendous fore and 

rear udder attachments, just like their dam!

Dam: HEAVENLY HOPES JAVA TWIST is a doe we bought out

of the same herd we got Finesse from. We loved Nessy so much that

we really wanted to get into the Lamancha breed more! Java is a solid black and very eye catching doe. This year she is a 2 year old first freshener. So far she has done excellent in the show ring! She got her restricted leg as a dry yearling at her very first show. This year as a milker she has been Grand Champion Lamancha x 2 Reserve Champion x 2 and placed 1st x 5, 2nd x 1, 3rd x 3, and 4th x 1. Java will be milk tested in July of 2009 and results will be posted once we recieve them. Java was appraised this year with an overall rating of very good  scoring an 87 with +VVE.

Grand Dam: CH HEAVENLY HOPES FINESSE

Nessy was our very first Lamancha doe. We bought her in the 2005 ODGA Buckeye Sale. Its actually pretty funny that we decided to get into Lamancha's because we always used to swear never to get into the breed since we used to think their lack of ears wasn't all that cute. But when Christie saw Finesse in the Buckeye Sale she just fell in love with her, and from then on they have become one of our favorite and primary breeds! Finesse is also now Christie's showmanship doe! She definitely has a sweet personality that just grows on you! 

      Nessy became a permanent champion as a 3 year old 2nd freshener. This year as a 4 year old she has been Best in Show x 2 in open show and Best in Show x 3 in the youth show to date. She has also been BOB x 8 so far this spring and summer.

Last year we took Finesse to the 2008 ADGA National Show and she placed 13th out of 61 does as a 3 year old milker. Nessy was also the 2008 Grand Champion Lamancha

at the Ohio State Fair! We will be getting Finesse milk tested in July of 2009,

and will post the results as soon as we recieve them!This year Nessy was

appraised at an overall very good rating scoring an 89 with VVVE.
